Featuring Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Fruitport, and Mona Shores Girls Volleyball Teams

This will be the 10th year for the Battle on the Boardwalk!  It has become an outstanding two-day multifaceted event that brings together the community and area schools.  All three levels of high school teams will compete on volleyball courts at Grand Haven’s Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium!

Due to the success and sponsors of the Battle on the Boardwalk, donations have allowed us to:

• Award a $500 Scholarship to a graduating senior each of the past EIGHT years!
• Fund our Girls Middle School B Volleyball teams.  24 additional athletes played volleyball in 7th and 8th grade each year because of this event!
• Fund our Middle School & High School Boys Volleyball Program for the past 4 seasons!!! In 2018, the Bucs won the inaugural Boys Volleyball Conference Championship, in 2019 won the first Regional Championship, and  another conference championship in 2021.  This year there are 37 Boys Volleyball teams in the state.  Our Boys Middle School Volleyball team went 21-0 this season with 20+ members on the team!
• Provide essential equipment for the nine volleyball teams and our Young Bucs Volleyball Program.
• Cover additional costs associated with our program.
